Odd and the Frost Giants By Neil Gaiman
Reviewed By James, Berkelouw Mona Vale
Neil Gaiman is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. He can effortlessly engage readers across a wide age range with a style that is both contemporary and timeless. The unexpected appearance of this book left me grinning in anticipation.
This delightful tale features a boy named Odd and the Norse gods Thor, Odin and Loki. The gods have been exiled from Asgard and will require Odd’s good nature and resourcefulness if they are to return.
Charming, funny and exciting in equal parts, this book has distinguished itself as my favourite children’s release so far this year.
