The Eumundi Writers Festival 2026 will take audiences on a journey of thoughts and ideas that deeply explore the human condition.

 

We invite writers and readers to look at what it is to be human at the most challenging of times - in war, in love, through family ties and through crime stories. The Human Condition is more than biology. It includes reason and intellect, consciousness and self-awareness, creativity and imagination, sociality and community, and the capacity for empathy and moral responsibility.  Together they explain what you did in that defining moment and why.

 

The festival aims to take you into another realm to explore the uniqueness and importance of the “human-to-human” connection through words, something that Artificial Intelligence cannot achieve.

 

Join us in the beautiful Noosa hinterland town of Eumundi to celebrate writers, book illustrators, and the written word. We focus on the needs of writers at all stages of their craft with a program of inspirational authors, mentors, publishers and professional development opportunities.
