Writers Live - Catherine Fox introduces Stop Fixing Women
27th Apr '17 @ Berkelouw Mona Vale
You are invited to meet Catherine Fox when she introduces her new book Stop Fixing Women.
When former Australian PM Tony Abbott said he was disappointed that only one woman made it into his first cabinet based on 'merit', many Australians didn't buy it.
And, with discrimination in the workplace well and truly on the radar these days, why is genuine progress for women still horribly slow? The pay gap is 17.9%, there are 3% women CEOs of top companies and women have half the superannuation savings of men.
Fortunately organisations from the army to banks, healthcare and IT are starting to recognise that systemic bias is the problem and we need to change the rules, not the women.
Join us at 6.30pm on Thursday April 27th, 2017 when Catherine Fox is our guest.
Bookings are essential and can be made online by following this link or by phone on 9979 2112.
Cost is $ 14.00, $ 5.00 of which will be credited against any purchases made on the evening.
