Features poetry articles musical scores and short stories. Occasional foxing. NOTE: Founded in 1940 by four poets Angry Penguins became synonymous with the modernist literary and artistic movement. In 1944 poetry by a writer called Ern Malley was published in the magazine however this was a hoax which led to a charge against Max Harris for publishing obscenities.
