Very light foxing on prelim. pages and last few pages otherwise a fine copy of one of the scarcest of World War Two Unit Histories. NOTE: Formed in England in 1940 from Australian reinforcements diverted en route to the Middle East the Battalion became part of the 9th Division. It fought at the Siege of Tobruk in 1941 The Battle of Alamein in 1942 New Guinea in 1943-1944 and Borneo in 1945.
