NOTE: Albertus Seba (1665-1736) was an Amsterdam-based pharmacist whose remarkable collection of flora and fauna from around the world gained international fame during his lifetime. Seba's "Cabinet of Natural Curiosities" is one of the greatest accomplishments of the 18th century and to this day it numbers among the most esteemed natural history books of all time.
