Slightly foxed but a fine compilation of these two major treatises on economic reform both published by the Author as a prospective parliamentarian and written during his intense political activity at this time. The material includes his attacks on the sinecure system the standing army the tithes and the Irish Church in which he demanded the wiping out of the National Debt by the sale of ecclesiastical estates and Crown lands.
