With num. full-page plates of which 16 are coloured plates after drawings by Ellis Rowan and other illusts. Frontispiece affected by adhesion and toning on end-papers otherwise a good complete copy. NOTE: Frederick Manson Bailey (1827-1915) was a botanist active in Queensland during the nineteenth century. His works did much to help in the understanding of the plants of the region. In 1881 he was appointed colonial botanist.
