Schaffhausen: J. Brodtmann (1836). Folio bound in original half calf over marbled paper boards (lower spine extremities and corner points rubbed). (120pp. text printed in double-column). With Atlas component comprising lithographic title-page and 60 full-page captioned lithographic plates bound-in. Notwithstanding occasional light foxing and some marginal damp-staining to the latter portion of the Atlas (not affecting the images) this is a fine and complete copy of the rare German translation of this important voyage to the South Seas.
