With engrv. title-vign., and 32 fold. engrv. plates. Name on title as well as an old rubber stamp, otherwise a fine complete copy. 1st edition. NOTE: Dutch Mathematician and philosopher; friend of Sir Isaac Newton; credited with invention of first heliostat; introduced Newtonian philosophy into Leiden.
