Fragile condition, slightly chipped spine with loose pages. Written in French. NOTE: Étienne Grosclaude (1858-1932), is a celebrated French satirist, journalist and columnist. He made his debut at the Gaulois and collaborated with Le Figaro, La Liberté and many other celebrated French periodicals. He signed under the name of Philidor in Gil Blas. With illustrator Albert Robida (1848-1926) who edited and published La Caricature magazine, L’Exposition Comique chronicles 1900 Paris Exposition with searing prose and wonderfully mocking illustrations
