(vii 15pp.) 19 prints made from original water colours on vellum - among them 18 signed by the artist - and 17 smaller tipped-in colour sketches. Text by Dr. Andr? Lawalr?e. Light foxing on inside of hinge otherwise good condition. NOTE: Pierre-Joseph Redout? (1759-1840) was a Belgian botanical artist and royal flower painter who was Marie Antoinette's art tutor. Famous for his exquisite Roses and Lilies.
