With a large fold. engrv. map by John Arrowsmith hand-col. in outline captioned: "Map shewing the Proposed Boundary between New South Wales and the Moreton Bay District and the Proposed Division of that Colony into Electoral Districts ... Jany. 1858". Includes the original Despatches from the Governor-General Sir W. Denison Despatches from the Secretary of State Lord John Russell and response from The Right Hon. Lord Stanley. NOTE: The original parliamentary paper from the British Parliament decreeing the establishment of Queensland as a separate State. Extremely rare.
