Price-clipped dustjacket (lightly chipped around edges; spine lightly toned). With frontisp. portrait two fold-out maps of Tierra del Fuego and Navarin Island 13 b/w plates and 12 b/w figures throughout. Endpapers toned and light foxing to top edge otherwise fine. NOTE: Baldwin Spencer (1860-1929) was the second director of the National Museum of Victoria a noted biologist photographer anthropologist and helped transform university standards of Australian science.
