Elephant folio. Original full mottled calf with ornate gilt borders on front and rear boards (slightly rubbed). Spine (a trifle rubbed) gilt with raised bands and red morocco title-label (head and tail bands skilfully strengthened). Comprising engraved title on 2 double-page plates and 25 double-page engraved plans some with decorative cartouches bearing the coats of arms of various officials. A double-page key depicting the whole map in a reduced size is not included otherwise a complete atlas (sectionalised wall-map) depicting the delineation of Delft in fine original condition. With the bookplate of W. L. Zinsmeester of Delft on the front pastedown. Extremely rare.
