With title-page vign. 6 fold. engraved plates fold. engraved frontisp. of Great Orrery 1 table and woodcut head and tail-pieces. 2nd edition. Drawings on back endpaper and in the margins of plate 5. A number of the plates including frontisp. torn and repaired with tape. Pages toned and aged with occasional water staining otherwise a good copy. NOTE: Joseph Harris's popular and influential works on globes went through 14 printings by 1793. It provided a guide on the structure and functions of globes along with an exploration of the celestial mechanics and solar system.
