Melbourne: 2/7 Battalion Association n.d. Sm. 4to. Orig. cloth. Spine gilt. Dustjacket (shelf-soiled). (xxii 442pp.). With a col. text-illust. 13 full-page b/w illusts. and 6 full-page maps. Foxing on prelim. pages and last few pages otherwise fine. NOTE: The 2/7 Battalion part of the 6th Division fought in the early stages of the Western Desert campaigns including the capture of Tobruk and Bardia and then in the Greece and Crete campaigns 1941. After being rebuilt the 2/7 fought the Japanese in New Guinea in 1943 and 1945.
