With col. portr. tissue guard title-vign. 2 full-page portrs. and 13 illusts by A. Feint. Ex-libr. copy with SCEGGS library bookplate on front endpaper number on spine and stamps on several pages. Otherwise a very good copy. NOTE: John Fairfax (1804-1877) was an English journalist who came to Sydney in 1838 and became proprietor of The Sydney Morning Herald in 1841.
