This is the first edition printed by the Folio Society with Hugo Victor's original illustrations. Limited edition of 1250 numbered copies of which 25 lettered copies not for sale this being No. 577. Housed in clamshell case with illust. on front. Mint. NOTE: Dedicated to the Island of Guernsey 'The Toilers of the Sea' is a tale of a young mans quest to marry his true love. Hugo Victor was in exile on the Island of Guernsey for 15 years.
