(1) Abstract of the Title of Daniel Cooper Esquire to the Point Piper Estate in New South Wales under the hand of His Excellency Lieutenant General Ralph Darling Captain General and Governor in Chief of the Territory of New South Wales and its Dependencies. (13pp.). (2) Abstract (in Continuation) of the Title of Daniel Cooper and Thomas Buckland Esquires as Trustees in the Point Piper Estate. (5pp.). (3) Abstract of the Title of John Alexander Esq. to 5a 1r 17p of the Point Piper Estate situated in the Parish of Alexandria in the County of Cumberland in the Colony of New South Wales. (7pp.). The 3 documents are printed with two in script on blue/grey paper folio size folded. Circa 1840s. NOTE: Daniel Cooper (1785-1853) was a successful merchant and investor in the Colony of New South Wales. In 1815 having been convicted of stealing he was sentenced to transportation for life arriving in Sydney Town in January 1816. After receiving a conditional pardon in 1818 he went on to become one of the richest men in the colony. The documents here offered relate to his estate that subsequently passed to his nephew who bore his name (later Sir Daniel Cooper baronet).
