Top edge of 'The Tibetan Book of the Great Liberation' gilt with other edges uncut. With col. frontisps. and b/w illusts. Foxing on prelims. end-papers and text-blocks. End-papers toned in 'Tibet's Great Yogi Milarepa'. All volumes 2nd editions. A near fine complete set of these important works. NOTE: W. Y. Evans-Wentz an American Anthropologist and writer was crucial in the transmission of Tibetan Buddhism to the Western world. He was most known for his early English translation of The Tibetan Book of the Dead in 1927. Other prominent figures such as Dr. C. G. Jung Dr. R. R. Marrett and Sir John Woodroffe were contributors as well.
