A complete copy albeit water stained throughout. lst ed. NOTE: Captain Byron was the cousin of the celebrated poet and succeeded to his title. The Expedition his last appointment afloat was undertaken to convey back to the Hawaiian Islands the remains of the King and Queen of the Sandwich Islands who had died from measles during their visit to England. The Appendix in the book contains an account of the Birds Insects and Fish of the Islands by A.Bloxham Naturalist of the Expedition.
