Josie Mack and the Predator Problem

This is a new book. Condition: Brand New.

Josie Mack and the Predator Problem is perfect for newly independent readers 5+. Join 9-year-old Josie as she embarks on supersized adventures with her friend Ursula, a northern hairy-nosed wombat.

Josie and Ursula have become the Fellowship of Underground Nocturnals (the FUN's) most exceptional team, especially now that Ursula can go mega-sized with a press of her 'x' marked MEGA tag. Being 200 kg makes it easier to flatten an illegal trail bike jump or dig a human-sized tunnel!

But the FUN's leader - a tawny frogmouth named Pod - is missing, and an apex predator named Venus has joined the fellowship. Could the two things be related? Josie has learned a lot about predators lately, and it doesn't look good for Pod. Venus the perentie also seems unusually interested in Ursula's MEGA tag.

But Venus isn't Josie's only lizard problem. Her schoolfriend Tilly has a cat named Oscar who likes to catch them and leave them on the doorstep. Can Josie help Tilly find a way to stop Oscar from hurting the lizards?

The Josie Mack series introduces young readers to the importance of creative problem-solving, as well as many of Australia's marvellous plants and animals.
